CRESCENT  REMNANT  NEBULA

OBJECT

The Crescent Nebula is an emission nebula in the Cygnus constellation. This nebula is bigger than the full-moon disk aparent size. The central young star (with about 25 solar mass) is expelling gases to form that huge shell with 25 light years across. The object is better captured using a H-alpha filter.

This image has been reached when merging H-alpha and LRGB components. That way, the nebula is evident and the stars keep their colour.
