OBJECT

This image has been obtained imaging in pure Hydrogen-alpha light from a severe light-polluted sky in a city suburbs. It is B/W since that only a halpha filter has been used.

Two teselas (fields) have been used.

Horsehead nebula is a black dark nebula between the illuminated background nebula and us. Magnetic fields move the gas producing the streams which can be seen in the image.

The nebula is at about 1500 light years from us.
